Who have the rights to participate in governance

All $RICE holders, Passport Citizens, and Cafeteria Citizens have the rights to participate in the governance of DAOSquare. This is a open and permissionless membership mechanism. Check Citizenship chapter to learn more about it.

Governance Flow

This new version of the mechanism is based on the governance cycle by Nance in this version upgrade.

• Temperature Check: Collect the community’s feedback on this proposal and measure the community’s enthusiasm for the proposal through a Temp-Check (like a poll).
• Vote: All proposals that have passed the Temperature Check will enter the Vote period.
• Execution: All proposals that have been approved in the Vote period will be executed during the Execution period.
• Delay: Proposals that have not been approved can be modified during the Delay period for resubmission in the next governance cycle.

This cycle is repeated forever with a fixed period. Here is the setting for DAOSquare.
