DAOSquare Grants is a community fund for grant, which is raised by community and governed by community. Its mission is to support public goods, and valuable, promising projects, organizations, and people.
DAOSquare Grants was summoned on March 21, 2021, with initial funding from a community donation DAOSquare received in Gitcoin Grants. Its vision is to pass on this community spirit to the DAOSquare ecosystem.
So far, it granted one project (Ethermore) and one organization (Padawan).
In this community optimization, DAOSquare Grants will focus more on the DAOSquare community and become a supporter of the community members and talent pool.
The Treasury of DAOSquare Grants is on DAOhaus for now, and managed by the summoner of DAOSquare, Typto. It will be upgraded in the near future to run on top of a more decentralized mechanism.
